How much did they pay you?? my buddie got 5k for 1 day from Longhorns. They used his horse in commercial...He had to rear up on command and do tricks as well

Thanks for the good words! I just think it's cool that they picked a C3, and that I could be there to represent the Forum.

The "drive safely" license was stuck on over my license using some kind of black sticky putty material.....kinda funny though! :D
That's pretty cool if the new forum automatically shinks the pictures. Does anyone know about this feature?

They actually recorded the sound of the sidepipes.......I don't know whether that will make it into the final commercial, though.

How about if I leave some black tire marks on a photo, and then include some oil and power steering drippings?? :lol:

Hmmmmm......I think the horse rental business pays much better than cars. Although, the transport driver said that I got a pretty good fee as far as other cars go. He said that exotics rent by the hour, for example a Porsche TT runs about $350/hr., :crazy: but my car made nowhere near that, or what the horse did!

Your car is beautiful. I don't know if the commercial will be shown in the NYC area but I'll keep an eye out for it.
You're right, the filming process is quite an experience. About two years ago I was at a cruise in when someone started taking pictures of my red 69 coupe, then he told me he was scouting cars for a movie. A few months later I spent an entire day on the set of the Drew Barrymore movie "Riding in Cars With Boys" My car is on screen for about 10 seconds during the kid's birthday party scene. My only concern was when the prop man told me the actor who would be driving the car (I forget his name), didn't know how to drive stick. I gave him a quick lesson and said as long as we weren't going to recreate the chase scene from "Bullit" he would be ok.
