Try holding the window switch up for 3 seconds with power on, this should reset the window.

This has got to rank pretty high as the most asked question on the forum (behind valve guides). ;) Search is your friend.

Yep, the above should fix it. When I was having a ton of battery issues (tested out to be a bad battery), my window indexing would regularly stop working. Follow the steps above and all will be good.

thanks team great info ill do that , yes i have been having trouble with battery we cant get a decent batteries here in new zealand i seem to wear them out car is lucky if it does 1000ks a year , i have a battery minder hooked up as well, the other trouble ive been having is after ive been out for a drive to charge up battery then stop at the shops somewhere , then go to restart it it really struggles to start which seems to throw it into a hissy fit , traction warning comes on goes into limp mode , so if you pull over stop for ten minutes then restart it comes right again , is that my battery ya reckon ? or i read somewhere the starters get heat sink into them ?

Could be starter/solenoid failing, they do act-up [more] in hot climates.
Get it in air on lift, closely inspect starter/solenoid w/ a flashlight.
Look for any sign of burnt connecting posts, Bakelite gets brittle, cracks.
Use an insulted pliers & gently tug each post insuring they're secure.
In fact post check's best be done w/ battery disconnected.
Inadvertently short against anything & there'll be real headaches.

This is not an uncommon problem, FWIW.
Check, rule-out before going deeper.
Might get lucky, nail this bug straight-away.
