LT1 engine internal
LT1 owners.
I found a flaw on 2 OE. LT1 engines. The composite distributor stub developed stress cracks both sides of the arm. I currently made a proto type aluminum version to eliminate UNscheduled DISassembly. Before dropping my 383 perfecting my 2nd admiral. Gauging if any LT1 owners would like to eliminate this possibilty. if I make a batch. possible production. Thank you in advance. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...c6bc5c8fe3.jpg OE https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...5f905e97ea.jpg Proto fit test. |

Nice find. Thanks. I thought I had this market covered.
I designed my version a few years ago. Just fabed up test fit 2 days ago. Last stage bore shaft depth. |

Just for you old LT1 guys. The oil pump drive for a Gen7 8.1L truck that was made from 2001 to 07 uses a all metal drive that will work in the old LT1. Its a gm part number 12568356

No sir. Moving forward. Mine is replacing my OE composite, I did not pay $150. Best part is I made it. I seriously looked in the past. I did not find TP. They must be new and recently released this stub housing. Thank you gent's.
