Macmulkin ERay list

Is there a tracker for MM for the ERay. I got on there list Early last year and never followed up with them.

VER 12-02-2022 06:37 PM

No. There is no order to the list.

Except I'm first. :D

Still just a list of interest.

BluegrassMotorsport 12-09-2022 08:37 AM

Does a list of interest translate over to a wait list for the car? Or do they start over like they did for the Z06?

anyone on the list of interest will be notified and can then submit a deposit. I assume at that point in order of receiving deposit you will get a waitlist number then.

I’m not very confident about the sequence of notification. I suspect it will be a blast email to everyone concurrent with an opening of a new web page for E-Ray deposits.

I surely wish it will not be done that way but I think MM has said much earlier that they will indeed do it that way. :(

As they should.

TGChris2 12-10-2022 04:50 PM

I called them, yes a concurrent email blast, and then race to a deposit. That’s not right, not a fair way to do it. Reminds me of Ciocca with Z06. I hope I have a Z by then anyway, but the Z
allocation has so much unknown still….

That is fair because they said that's how they were doing it the whole time.

MM has said since day one how they are doing things so it baffles me how people can come here and comment crying saying "THATS NOT FAIR!" Yes, it is. Why would they have a deposit list and be holding deposits for a vehicle that doesn't even exist or have a press release confirming existence of such vehicle yet? Do you want them to be like Tesla? I for one do not. Get on their contact list and when deposits open up send them your deposit asap. Its just a car...

Will be interested to see how all these lists shake out. I put myself on Furman’s ERay list back in December 2021. No idea what that’ll mean.

:iagree: They are upfront and honest, and I have had nothing but an excellent experience with them.

I am extremely high on their list < I was told only two employees are ahead of me on their list . Last time I checked awhile ago. But nothing is official yet .

After the reveal /specs and cost could change some minds? :yesnod: Non plug in, base engine, widebody, with AWD and all-season tires is what I'm looking for. Really liked my C7 GS but love my C8 and with widebody .

Since there is no order to the list, you can't be "high" on the list.

Paws 12-15-2022 12:08 PM

Reality check……
‘ It’s impossible to be high on a list that DOESN’T EXIST.
This has been verified many times here.

Why is it not "right"?

How should we do it? Call each person on the list? Let's say we have 2000 people on the waiting list...that means we have to make 2000 phone calls and if we can't reach some of those people, then we have to leave a voicemail...wait for them to call back...

Let's say we call someone in position #10 and someone in position #200. We get in direct contact with #200 and they immediately send a wire transfer for deposit. #10 doesn't get back to us for a few days...or doesn't even bother to call us back and ghosts us. Then what? Are we supposed to wait for days or weeks-on-end for someone to call us back while others are sending in deposits?

IMHO, that's not fair to those who really want the car and send a deposit in, and it's a huge amount of work and a waste of our time waiting for people to get back to us. An email blast is quick and efficient.

Just my two cents...
