Great news My Z06 Order is here. Bad news Dealer wants a market adjustment of 100K!!!!!! When ordered they told me 25K over now its 100K. I am willing to pay 50K but that's my limit. My Lamborghini EVO was less than the new Z06!!! with the markup! I am also willing to trade my 2023 C8 in for the Z06.
If I buy the Z06 My total cost Tax title and Doc $285K OTD!

so sorry to hear that, it's normal, dealers probably have seen the news and crazy auctions so they decide to take advantage of z06 lovers.
when I brought it in for carmax, was offered less than what we paid, still got flamed saying that their price is good(pennies over msrp)
Just to show you a crazy example, $220k+ fee($110k~$120k mark up) in "dealer" auction now, I am sure who ever got it will retail at least 10% more than that.
and yes for 100k is not worth it and evo looks a lot cooler and 99.9% of people don't have a clue what a z06 is on the public street,
and sadly our none-car lover friends just thought we got some sort of Chevy 2 doors coupe and not even interested to see at all.🤣

If the lightning lap times that come out next Tuesday are really as good as the leaks lead us to believe, they are going to hold their value for quite a while.

I would report that dealer to GM.

😆 🤣 😂. Let this be a lesson for ALL of you who claim to be #1 at your LOCAL dealership . They most likely fk u in the end.
Thats why I go with the well known nation dealerships that are well known to sell MSRP

Report them so they lose all future allocations. Meanwhile, don't pay a damn cent over MSRP. We're already seeing the start of the market normalizing. 50k over is absolutely insane.

Further, understand the fact that for you personally it will be tough to avoid the marching markup becuase you agreed to $25,000 ADM ( and feel $50,000 is "acceptable) with the same dealer but probably showed up in the imported noisy car anyway. If I was a dealer I would have probably done the same thing. If you want to argue ADM raising with the dealer drive a LEAF to the dealership next time. Enjoy the C8!

It is understood why you are asking for this info but keep in mind that not everyone who owns a corvette or desires to own one and will buy one has 17,000 posts on corvetteforum.com.

Id report them to GM and just enjoy the lambo. Hell, if I could afford an EVO, I probably wouldnt even be looking at a Z06. Also I hope you did not tell them you would be willing to pay $50k ADM. I'd stick to your guns at the original agreed upon price. Hopefully you have that in writing and can prove your case if you do end up having to report them to GM.

No way in hell that I would pay any ADM for a mass-produced car, let alone 100K over. For that money get a 720S.

If you had that deal in writing, report them to GM. GM will take action on a dealer changing the deal at delivery. They are fine with ADM's if up front, but they will go after the ones that are changing the deal.

Now to balance how much you want the Z06 vs wanting to give that dealer business.

Z06:
These will be selling on used market at a minimum of 50K over sticker for the next 1-2 years

I like your Lambo.

It's your money, so you're certainly free to do with it as you please. If I was in your shoes, I'd walk, enjoy the Lambo and just plan on getting a Z later.

This.... ADMs are fine. Upping the ADM once the vehicle has arrived is not.
