Allocation Available Next Thursday

My allocation came in today, and I can order the car next week. I have moved on to another vehicle, and no longer want the car.
If you're interested in ordering a Z06 the way you want it, let me know.
I can give you the dealership information, and you can order the car next Thursday.
It will be in your name, no warranty issues to worry about.

You were the only person on the dealer's list?

Yes, it's a very small dealership. He didn't think he would get one.

MSRP or ADM added?

Of couse there will be a mark up. But someone can order the car the way they want it right now.
I get it, no one on here believes in paying over sticker.
But that seems to be the market right now.

I didn't think allocations would be out till tomorrow. Is your dealer aware already versus other dealers?

mfain 04-19-2023 02:19 PM

Did they specify if this was a sold order or a dealer retail order that they will build to a customer's specifications? The earlier announcement was that there would be no customer sold orders after April 4th - only dealer retail. Just curious. Also, did they say what options were constrained? Z07?

*Could be* breaking news! ( that other forums and blogs will use to be “first” to break the news)

either way, thank you OP for letting everyone know. Hopefully someone here can pick that allocation up!

Well I certainly hope that there are allocations awarded tomorrow!! I've been hoping they would be! Generally they are awarded and then they go in the following week when that dealers learns their constraints.

We won't know the constraints till next Thursday, when the order goes in. Then the following Tuesday, GM will pick up the order.

He said it didn't matter if it was for a customer, or ordered for stock.

The allocation will be for next Thursday, the 27th, not tomorrow.

Right. As I understand it the dealer is notified how many allocations they will get but they won't know what the constraints are until next Thursday and then they submit the builds that match the allocations they are given.

Better make sure the dealer will let you sell your spot.

AVETTE 04-19-2023 08:32 PM

the 'dealer' probably wants 50 to 100k over... nothing new here
