62 cross over pipe

Hello All,
I am installing a new exhaust system on our 62 FI, should I install the cross over pipe or delete it? I’m putting on stainless exhaust with off road mufflers. The engine is a stock 365 hp fuel injection. It’s not a show car just a weekend driver.
pros and cons would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Jerry

I'm led to believe the crossover pipe mellows out the exhaust note somewhat. I've never NOT had the crossover on my FI '60 so I don't have any way to compare. I'd say install the pipe. It hurts nothing to have it.

I thought the ‘62 FI was 360 HP?

You are correct. The 365 HP engine was a carbureted engine available in '64 & '65.
