Austin Area - Someone to do C6 Harmonic Dampener
 

Hi. Looking for suggestions as to which dampener to use and if anyone has suggestions (recommend/avoid) as to a shop to do the work.

Can't help with a shop down there sorry, but mine failed on my 2006 in 2018 with just 24,000 miles on the clock and I provided the local Chev dealer with the ATI balancer, and it still cost me $1400 in labor and $131 for 2 seals, new bolt and new belt.

It's best to replace the seals, bolt and belts too.

I have just 34,000 miles... Good idea on the other replacements..

Another vote for Aikman Performance. They replaced both my C5's downstream O2 sensors and cleaned & flushed the secondary air pump on my C5, today. Very pleased with the work performed and the cost was very reasonable.
