I've owned nothing but black cars or trucks, except for the $200 "winter roaches", since the late 70s...........

A pair of black C5s

I have a real Black on Red '63 convertible, a real Daytona Blue on Tan Leather SWC and last but not least, one of the 24 "defective paint" Copper convertibles built in '94. I like the unusual color combinations.you don't see everyday.
FWIW- I had a 2023 C8 on order at Criswell for 18 months, knowing I would have to sell one of my cars. In the end, I cancelled the C8 and kept my unusual set of Corvettes. Looking back, I think I made the right decision for my interests.

You did make that decision correctly.!

What I find interesting is how few real black Corvettes were made back in the C2 era. It's a very popular color today, in spite of being able to keep it clean. Also, look at how many green '67's were made. Today, not so popular, although if paired with a good interior color, green can look awesome. In fact, one of my favorite Corvettes is the super rare "bright green" '75 Corvette convertible. I've only seen like 3 or so of them in the past 25 years going to shows.

I also have a black over red ‘63. I love the striking contrast as a car’s colors are more important to my purchase decision than anything.

When I had the engine numbers certified by CCAS I also had Al do the trim tag, as I think the color combo is an enormous enhancement to the car.

Oh, I bought a C8 convertible too, and love the polarizing Amplify Orange color, lol!

One thing's for sure, you can take a Copper '94 Convertible to some of the largest Corvette shows in the country, and you'll have the only one there. Years ago, I heard there was one in a Corvette junkyard in Canada. Be curious to know how many of the original 24 are left.
