It is illegal to have any white light emitting from the rear of the vehicle while driving in most states, unless you are reversing.

Still a bit puzzled so didn't order the:
See from several GM Parts dealer they are selling a "lighting kit" for ~$200. Two lights and two wiring harnesses, depends on model. Looks like what was more money in 2020. BUT the install instructions has many parts requiring removal. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...31d401365d.jpg For my 2020 C8, like many I installed remote operated battery power lights and attached with 3M Dual Lock. But after the novelty of using to show the engine when driving at night, I removed. Don't need for my E-Ray, But still puzzled what you get for $100 and hard to envision it being installed on the assembly line! |
