Issue on install engine by the top

On my C6 mn6,I'm reinstalling engine by the top cause no lift,I have mantic triple disk, well centered,I cannot engage completly the engine in the torque tube (need engage half a inch more),I think everything is in line,Any advice ?

(Have post in tech/performance before with no reply)

Stabbing the torque tube (twice because something got messed up the first time) when we did the clutch install in my 2008 Z06 was the most challenging and time consuming part of it, and we had it on a lift with the engine mounted. I can't imagine trying to do it from the top. It has to be absolutely perfect on the alignment or else it won't go in there.

If you drop the cradle ittl give you a little more room to maneuver it but yeah... thats a hard one from the top. It was a struggle with an auto/convertor. Only done it that way once. Also worth noting the heads wern't on it either which helped.
