C8 Z07 orange stitching

Would it look good with orange stiching what do you guys think I did my all black c8 z51 and was thinking about doing this one? I wonder if any one has done it with the tan |
Mixing orange stitching with a tan interior is your plan? I wouldn't. It introduces a 3rd competing color and might make the tan seem more orangish.
|
I didn't debate the stitching specifically, however, I did consider the orange seat belts in this interior/exterior color combination and also concluded that it may create an undesirable look for the interior. Take that for what it's worth. YMMV.
|
To each their own, but IMHO orange stitching will clash with the tan interior. If the interior had been all black and the stitching something like white/silver/grey, then doing orange stitching would work. I did similar but with Red on my black ext/black in C7 and it was a definite upgrade over the light grey stitching.

I second that. No orange stiching on that interior.
|
Still no!

I’m having the same debate with mine I think it would look good just no one wants to admit it 🤣🤣

Orange and whatever shade of tan the "natural" interior is would look awful.

He's not, but he's not wrong about adding orange accents to this interior either. I get that everyone has different tastes and wants to be different, but as the kids say... you're "doin too much". Less is often more. |

Tan with orange is a horrible color combo. I seen an orange C8 with natural interior and that had to be the ugliest combo I have seen in a long time. Well that, and orange with red dipped interior. I honestly dont know what goes through peoples minds when deciding color combos.

Please don't!

Is orange stitching an option, or are you looking at having this done by a shop? Couldn't imagine the invoice on having that done privately?!
And fwiw, I agree with others, and I am a huge fan of orange accents on white, grey, or black. |

It is not an option, but people over the years have posted in forums about using a fabric marker to color the light grey stitching that comes w black seats. I did that on my black on black C7. Colored the stitching red to match the red calipers. Used a marker brand called Kuretake bought on Amazon. Since you are essentially dyeing the stitching by coloring it, it looks legit. Took me about 90 mins. Have to just be patient, have a couple markers, and a rag to wipe any excess that gets on the leather (comes off easy). It works and makes a HUGE difference in helping the interior pop if you go w black interior and want subtle color matching with the exterior color. Everyone who saw the interior raved abt it.
