Scam, stolen or legit?
What is the likelihood that these are stolen rims? If this could be legit, I'll buy them. Something smells fishy about it, though.

Well...there's no way seven wheels could come off one car.
Also if some have scuffs and curve (sic) marks, (probably meant "curb marks") then they're not "used - good", they're "used - fair. If it smell fishy, it probably is. But if you're a risk taker, offer him 500 and see what happens. |
If its on Facebook then I would say most likely a scam. That platform seems to be like scammer heaven. I would not trust it.

The real question is how many of those rims are bent? I would never buy these rims used. My zr1 has 6k miles and all 4 are bent. I would spend the extra money and buy new ones. JMHO.

That eighth wheel probably got bent beyond recognition while three of them track a zigzag down the highway. Probably anyway. The original 4 were probably warped too badly thus the second set. As Basil says you might consider different wheels. You might get different size aftermarket that can accommodate more reasonable and available tire sizes. You will be able to match the overall circumference as OEM with a little research. Forgeline can help you.

I decided to pass on it. I bought some C7 Grandsport rims off of here instead. Need something I KNOW will fit over the C7Z brakes I am putting on my C5.
