wiring diagram for a 73
 

Does any one have a wiring diagram for a 73? The current owner said that 18 years ago he parked it because after smoke came out from the drivers kick panel it wouldn't turn on any more.

There really isn't anything in the kick panel, but the fuse box is right there.

What type of diagram are you looking for. I bought a large one from Lectric Limited (about 16' x 22") they are less than $20.

Since the fuse block is only a few inches away from that area, I would suggest that the problem lies there. However, if the posters above aren't able to help you, the 1973 AIM has a nice wiring diagram and you can also order one from Lectric Limited.
