Desktop Dyno2000 questions...

I have desktop dyno2000 but am kinda lost in it. I have a virtually stock 1980 L-82. I know it has aftermarket heads, but not sure what type. What are the stock ones? I don't know what settings to put in for this....I can't figure what any of them are.

Can someone advise me on how to set this up like it is a stock 1980 L-82?

JoeZ, without knowing what kind of heads you have it will be hard to figure which flw file you should use.
Are they aluminum heads? If they are then there might be somekind of series number or manufacturers mark on the ends of the heads. If they are cast iron then there is a good chance that they are just reworked GM heads. If that's the case you can probably look through the oil fill hole in the rocker cover with a flashlight and see the casting number of the heads.
If you find the casting numbers then go to http://www.mortec.com/castnum.htm and look and see if you can find a match to your heads.
As for your cam file, hopefully one of the guys here on the forum will have a cam file that matches your L82 cam. If not then you'll have to find the specs and fill in the blanks.
Good Luck!
