Problem with Perma Cool fan, any ideas?

So the electric fan was installed in the vette today and we seem to have a problem. The thermostat is set to turn on at 170 and the engine thermostat doesn't open until 190. See where I'm going? The fan stays on all the time.

So it looks like I need to get a new one that should turn on at 220. I also was told to get an oil pressure switch with 1/8" pipe 2 wire for the fan and the now electric choke quadrajet. Does anyone know where I can get these from? Parts #'s would help to. Thanks!

If you're not driving in the snow, get a 160 degree thermostat.

If you want to stay with tyhe 190 thermostat, you need the adjustable switch.

I need a 170 switch; contact me if you want to sell.

I'd prefer the engine thermostat to stay at 190, as thats what the machine shop wants it to run at. Are there any drawbacks to lowering the thermostat on the engine as opposed to increasing the thermostat on the fan?

My Permacool setup uses a harness that I got at PepBoys and I think the T-stat is also 170 degrees, but it mounts through the radiator core, which I assume must be cooler than the block due to air flow.I've had this setup since last July, and have had no problem with the fan running all the time.
The relay supplied was a POS and burned out within a few months, but the relay footprint was a NAPA standard part. Plugged in a new relay and she's been fine since.
