WTB Seatbelts
 

I need a set of replacement belts and mechanisms for a 1975 coupe. They are black. Any idea if other GM seatbelts of that era will fit. Does anyone know if selt belt retractors can be rebuilt?

I've heard late model camaro seat belts will work. Find dukvet76(Rob) on here, he was the one that told me about it. They probably wouldn't work for me since the seatbelt mechanisms changed in 78 but might be good for you.

I went to a junk yard and bought a set of seatbelts from a 1994 camero, they mount in the same position as my original 76 belts. I had to make a few mods such as making the bolt holes bigger.

I used a set of a '94 Camaro as well. (these are the rear seat belts). They work good, and the color suprisingly enough matches. :cheers:

If 1980 Retractors will work, I have an auction up now for a used set.
