Wish I could help you out, but I would like to know this as well. I have heard that it is not a good thing to glass in the bumper covers when I posed a similar scenario a while back. I don't recall the reasoning, but I think it had something to do with variations in the cars. Good luck!

i use a product called FUSOR,its a great product,i used it to bond my tailight panel in place and repaired my quarters with it also.it bond rather well and easily sands also.theres differnt varietysof it youd have to ask your body supply place and tell them what your doing with it.

i got it from my paint supplier where i get my body and paint supplies.any body shop or supplier will know of it.Fusor its a 2 part system in a tube and you use a gun that shoots out even parts of it and you mix them together and then use it,i use it without the gun just push it up with your finger or a screwdriver and it comes right out..http://www.fusor.com/

Here's the panel adhesive I'm using - says it's good for surface filling, too.
Make sure you get stuff that says you can use as filler.

I've never used the Fusor. Is it a 2-part urethane ?

I am using the same evercoat, Cost about 60 bucks for a gallon. Just bonded my front end back on last night, This stuff really STICKS!!!! it is also absolultly great for filling, takes about 20 minutes to set, and so far everything is comming along great. By the way, I don't know what is in this stuff, but WEAR A MASK WHEN SANDING!!.. since I have been sanding, I have been getting very light headed while doing this. I have messed with many different chemicals "for the car" and this one has effected me the most. Heck I even have done considrable painting without a mask still was not effected like this stuff did. I've learned my lesson.

I used Aeropoxy to bond my tail light panel and exhaust panel. Its a two part epoxy that you can buy from any Build it yourself air plane kit store (Wicks Aircraft supply in Highland IL is where I get my stuff, but there are others). You can get stuff to mix into the epoxy to make it into a filler, or just thick to fill in corners, you can "wet" it into fiberglass cloth to make bonding strips and what not. It sands well and can be used as a filler with the addition of special additives which they sell as well. It won't shrink either but it does take 24 hours to fully cure.

Grid any cracks, seams or dings out andbuild back up with fiberglass matt, then use the evercoat vette panel adhesive (#870) to fill any small areas. If you fill a crack or a seam with filler, it'll reappear. You must remove the crack and glass the area.
