radar bait is a good one....
I actually stole it from Reader's Digest. They have jokes and interesting short stories after the articles, and it said the someone saw a plate on a black vette in texas that said that.

You guys are lucky. Vanity plates ONLY come out in December in KY. I ordered mine in June when I bought the car and had to wait. On top of that you have to go down to pick them up and they do not tell you when they come in. I waited until January to get them. :mad

SOFINE89, I see you are from Illinois, Why is it, everyone in Illinios has a vanity plate? :jester I was born in Jacksonville, I moved to a small town in Indiana called Goodland, I don't know if you have heard of it. It is about an hour or so from you, near Watseka. Anyway I just wanted to say congrats on the plates, now you won't be the only one in Illinois that doesn't have them. :lolg:

It took about 6 weeks for my plates to arrive in California.

They are on commemorative American Flag background and read

A DAZY

Wife's idea from the movie Tombstone.

Doc Holliday after out drawing Ringo, "You aint no daisey. You aint no daisey a'tall."

In Massachusetts it's a 6 character limit and cost $70 a year. Can't remember how long it took to get it. I've had RDSTR for about 20+ years.

The cost for reserving a Personalized License Plate is $48 annually, payable at the time of your reservation, in addition to the normal registration fees. PLPs are available on a standard passenger plate background or on a special recognition license plate background. Takes @ 4 months

They must have go up recently, last year it was $75 for plates and $50 per year. In addition only having 6 characters, our plates also have to begin with 2 letters so it really limit some of the creativity. My plate is/was "TPI 350"
