Hood Height

Got a question on hood height. My hood is about 1/2" higher in the frount. Tried all the adjustments. still too high. Was wodering about the rubber weather stiping on top of the radiator housing, could this be pushing on the hood, causing this problem? should it be soft and compressable or non giving, like mine is. Could this be the problem? Thanks Guys

Do you have many spacers under the bottom mounting bracket for the hood hinges? You should have a few and if so take a few out.

No spacers installed under hinge. Bad Bodywork?. Car was hit long before I bought it. gap between hood and left fender too small.

I had the same problem. Tried every adjustment until I inspected the hinges closely. I found they were slightly bent and worn. I replaced them and it lowered mine appox. 1/2". The stinger hood is perfect now. Good Luck. :steering:
