Finally got what i want, 69 tri power roadster
 

Lots has happened since last post, sold my wifes car after 4 years, got hassled by another lady wanted the 69 badly so eventually prised out of us.
Thought id stick with my project b/b 69 coupe.
THEN found a 69 roadster. bought it thru pics over the internet, from here in another part of New Zealand, knew it had wrong motor, 454 but hey beggars cant be choosers.
get it home, and build sheet, window sticker tell me
400 hp, 427, side pipe, tilt/tele, 2 tops, power steer, brakes, windows, hubcaps, m21, fender louvre trim, posi, etc etc.
See seperate post in parts wanted, but need 427 block, have heads, tri power and side pipes and will put her back as original as poss.
yup i know all psrts expensive and hard to find, but hey worth the hassle.

Should make for a sweet ride. Chrome bumper verts are great. But with a BB, :thumbs:

Congrats, Geoff! Sounds like a sweet car. Our cars have a lot of the same options, in fact... mine was an L71 originally, though. Mine also has a 454, but that's fine with me. This engine makes more power than the original anyway. :)

I'll have to quiz you on life in NZ sometime. I've considered immigrating to there.
