Critters

I opened my hood to check my oil this morning, and found a buch of nuts, looked like filberts and almonds in the pocket by the passenger side hood latch. This critter was finding some expensive nuts as this stuff doesn't grow around here. I've got some projects going on in the garage, so the Corvette has been in the car port for a couple of weeks. Didn't see any other signs of nesting or anything chewed. Any suggestions?

I started seeing critters in the garage (a squirrel and a cat). I scattered a box of moth-balls around and that seems to have them at bay for the moment.

Buy peanuts ... maybe he'll move on looking for the 'good nuts'. :jester

Seriously ... gotta kill him. Peanut butter + mouse trap = no more shells.

I have a friend who had a rat DESTROY his EFI harness on his Suburban.. I didn't even ask what the dealer charged to fix it.

I've heard that moth balls will keep the little critters away. You'll have to put up with the car smelling like grandma's clothes locker, though.

Maybe the critter is just a fan of mouse motors! :lolg: :lolg:

i had them get in my car over the winter and chewed up one of my seats that took me hours to redo...i wasn't happ. Plus the fact it has taken me 3 weeks and every deoderizong product on the market to get rid of the smell. They were living in the loft of my garage and eating well. Some anti-freeze soaked pizza and i haven't seen them since, hopefully dead but at least there gone.
