who has storage bags for ttops
 

I see in catalogs, some that go for about 30 $, and I saw one that was about $100 which is what Im thinking of getting. It carries like a suitcase and opened like a folder, storing the tops on top of each other. Anyone have any opinions on these?

considering the limited storage space in the back of my Vette, the suitcase ones sound like they'd take up too much valuable realestate!

I have used my $30 bags about 6 times in the past 4 years. They are almost not worth it......

I use the $30 ones but wish they had more cushion. I have to put towels or such between the tops to feel comfortable. Maybe it's just me!

I wish I had the $100 suitcase and may just buy one anyway.

I use the cheepy $30.00 bags since 1999 on my mirror glass tops.....no damage so far......Make sure you use the tie down straps so they don't bounce around.....and prevent headache from airborne T-tops during sudden impact.....SHE BANG.....SHE BANG. :smash: :yesnod: :seeya

My vette came with storage bags. It is a PITA to get the tops in the bags. I usually just lay one in between the 2 tops and one inbetween the top and strap. A towel/blanket would work just as well :rolleyes:

Mine were a little more because I bought golor matching, I think $40 anyway I use mine all the time and Happy with them :cheers:

I have to originals but they suck - are too small and have those metal buttons insideout.

Just bought black $30 with velcro - they are GREAT! :party:

I have the zippered $100 suitcase bag and I love it..it is felt lined with divider that is alos linned, heavy vinyl, zippered and protects what can range from 500 to over 1200 dollar t-tops. Is the original GM T Top carring bag. Very good protection for those with mirrored / non mirrored glass tops!

I have the original 69 bags that are interior matching blue. They are dated sept '69. I really never use them as it is usually too hot here in the summer. Now the A/C.... that's another story... I use it all the time.... :cool:
