700R4 Rebuild

Does anyone know all the parts or part #'s I will need to completely rebuild my Tranny with High Perf stuff that will hold 400 HP? I have to rebuild it again, and I want to put good parts in. All the local shops just use OEM parts.
Thanks

The automatic trans is ONE job I won't tackle. I've tried it, and it didn't work for me. Some of the trans specialists companies assemble "performance" rebuild kits. You may want to contact a few of them. I am sure there are many options and/or additions to these kits to build a trans to suit your needs.

RACE ON!!!

I am in no way an expert in this topic, but I will offer you MY list of parts.

1)Rebuild manual
2)master rebuild kit
3)billet 4th servo (sonnax)
4)13 vane pump
5).500 boost valve
6)HD sun gear shell (the beast)
7)hardened pump ring and spring
8)transgo seperator plate
9)transgo shift reprogramer kit (stage 2)
10) 3-4 clutch pack 9 clutch (red alto)
11)HD sprag 29 element
12)kevlar band
13)tranny cooler 18,000gvw
14))trans snap ring pliers

All these parts came from Oregon Perfomance Trans. and I did the rebuild with no outside help. Most noticable is the 1-2 shift (snappy) and then the 3-4 shift. The car will shift into overdrive with some authority now. It used to just sliiiiide into 4th. Good luck with your rebuild!!!!!

Anti Venom, thanks for the list, how much should I expect to pay for all those parts?

Also, do they have a website, and how long have you been pounding on it, and how is it holding up?

They had everything I needed and their prices seemed fair, so I got everything from them at one time. I spent over $500 just in parts for my tranny not counting a stall. (already had it) I think these parts should be adequate for 400hp. That's about what I have with a 2400 stall. I haven't gotten alot of miles on it, but there is a couple thousand. I still have DR's on the back of the car and 2nd will still bark pretty good. I can't give you an honest long term durability remark because I just don't know. Seems to be working for me, and I learned alot. It did take several days to complete not counting removal and installation. I just took my time and worked on it when it interested me. Good luck with your choices.
