Tri-Power

I have never ran 3 dueces before and am about to install it on my vette. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who can give a little advise on quickest and easiest initial adjustments for first start-up? The setup has been off and dry for a year so I am rebuilding the 3 carbs. Would have got it done already, but am waiting on another rebuild kit. Its an edelbrock intake with 3 rochesters. Hopefully its as easy as I have heard. I think I will be bolting it to engine Tuesday or Wednesday.

Loren,
Seeing it is not an original Tripower there are a lot of variables to consider.
The Chevy tripower was vacuum secondary, I would say your setup would most likely be progressive linkage. The Chevy setup for the BB used Holleys, not Rochesters. Do the Rochies all have idle circuits? Can you give any more info on the setup?

Is this a SB or BB? I take it to be a SB with the Rochesters. What intake manifold?

Hi

As far as I know, nobody offers a aftermarked BB tri-power intake, or ?

Re: Tri-Power (WESCH)

The 2GC Carbs used on my Chevy 348 and Pontiac 389 did not have idle circuits as they were not required. You would not want the idle circuits on your set-up either. Progressive linkage is the way to go as you only use the end carbs after about 75% of pedal travel.

I have not seen a vendor fo BB 3X2's.

It is an Edelbrock C362S with 3 rochesters #7024112
1110CE1 is stamped in center carb, (the only idle adjustment carb), and no #'s on the outer 2. It has progressive linkage, which opens second 2 carbs at 3/4 open throttle or so.

Hope the added info helps.

Thanks,
