What kind of Engine??

I just purchased a 77 Vette, with what i think is a 350, but now im wondering if it isnt a small block 400.....the numbers on the front deck of the block is T11260MJ or possibbly T1126CMJ.....can anybody help with decoding this?.......thks Don

how many freeze plugs does it have on the side of the block? If it has 3 it's a 400(althought this is not fool proof identification since some 400s have 2 just like the 350) You might want to see if you have a damper with a counter balance on it. Also, what's the engine casting # ?
