Was curious.....do you have to open the computer case.....mine computer has a sticker on it with a repair number and barcode but no 4 letter code.....

It's on the silver sticker that covers the erase window on the EPROM in the MEMCAL. Pull the small cover off the ECM and you should be able to see it.

Jeff,

You have a 1990 automatic with 3.07 rear. The sticker on your chip will say ANHT with some numbers. There are a few nuts to remove that hold the ECM over your battery area. Once those are removed, you can lift the ECM up and on the bottom is a small cover that comes off to reveal the Memcal with the chip in it.

Can't wait to test out the new chip...I just want this thing to run nice and cold this summer for my trip to Maine...

Hopefully...the chip & 160 thermo will do the trick....

You won't be dissapointed temp wise. Since I've installed the chip and 160 thermostat I haven't gone above 200 degrees.
