My 98 Coupe is the very same color. It really is a great color I get compliments on it all the time. I have Z06 chromies on mine, it only has 18K pampered miles on it.

MitchC Im dissapointed. I was lookin forward to having the fastest purple car. My dad is looking for a 98 same color, twin of my car. Im probably in the 12's with mine right now. One day Ill be close to 11's.
Oh yea the purple is one of 381 ever made.

I have a 98 with the same color and tan and black two tone seats. I ordered the car from the factory with that color cuz it looked so awesome. I live in Dallas and have seen a couple of other purple metallic vettes. They are rare. I can't believe that GM abandoned such a great color.

With your mods and a set of DRs you might already be in the 11s on a nice cool day? If not install 3.90 or 4.10 gears and you should make into the 11s. Yes, we do have a great color don't we :cheers:

I tend to agree. I hope my dad gets a twin and we shock some people at the cruise nights and at effingham. I had so many compliments there and I loved it. Everyone I meet either loves it or it grows on them.
