I use an ADS Super chip in my Automatc 84. I don't know any specifications, but I think that only WOT is changed, and also the lock-up speeds.

They have some experience with the cross-fire set up. Also you can get a newer
off the shelf ECM that has a faster
processor. I think it's the one that came in
early '90s trucks w/ TBI.

I have been VERY pleased with my Ed Wright chip.

Note, I also suffer from a version of P.C.S.S. However mine is the more advanced P.C.S.W.C.C.S. (Poor College Student With Credit Card Syndrome) I'm still paying for my mods, but man are they worth every bit.

I also have the credit card debt goin on. Thats how I got my Vette in the first place. I put money into an 84 Camaro, sold it and got into the vette.
I checked out the fastchip site a while ago but it did't mention anything about 84, seems like us 84 guys are left out, just cuz we have a different intake, blah blah, j/k.
