Okay, sorry to do this again, but this time I have more information. I have a friend with an almost complete TPI system. Heres a copy of the letter, if anyone can help me out with advice or parts please do.

manifold and runners from him very cheap. I have the original injectors...
you can have them. I have the throttle body... you can have that also. The
part that I am using is the Plenum (top part of the injection system).
There are a number of places where you can get a used, ported plenum... not
sure what the cost is. Try looking on the internet... ask around on the
Corvette Forum maybe ?? Accel probably sells them and I am quite sure that
Lingenfelter does also... however, Lingenfelter will be very expensive.
Another option might be Exotic Muscle in Phoenix. They would probably be
the least expensive.

Now... still not sure if this is the right way to go for you... this still
leaves you short a computer, wiring harness, some sensors and etc., etc....
might be easire and cheaper to find a set-up in a junkyard or from someone
that is parting out a car ??!!?? Also, the stock TPI set-up will not help
you all that much... I expect that by the time you finished you will have
spent a lot of money and will not be completely satisfied with the
performance... it will have more torque than your current set-up, but for
the money maybe their are some other options for your cross-fire set-up??

If doing a stock TPI install, be sure all three intake pieces are compatable. Try http://www.contemporarycorvette.com/ for used parts. They are a Vette bone yard in eastern Pa with over 500 Vettes in "stock". They can likely provide all pieces needed for the conversion.

Since you are buying the pieces and doing the install anyway, you may want to get the TPIS base and large tube runners along with a BBK 52mm TB and then port a stock plenum to match. That is, if you want to get your TPI above the mid-300 HP range. That would also require a set of #113 or other Al heads.

If you just doing a stock install your going to be dissapointed unless you change your cam and do head work these are the real restrictions.

I have the TPI i put on my '72 on the original engine, and it ran just fine, since then I did a hotrod version on another long block and am happy with it also...
I have good clean stock runner sets, and manifolds and one plenum,....
I found the performance was SO far better than the old Qjet that it transformed the car...
even got 24 mpg...closed loop of course...

Was it difficult to do? And, not to be too forward, but how attached are you to those parts? Oh yes, and, was it difficult to get a hold of the sensors for the unit?

Coyote, you will be so disappointed after the swap!
Too much hassle, too little gain. For older carb'ed cars it's a good mod since it increases driveability dramatically. Not in your case. I suggest you bolt on an offenhauser or Edelbrock STR-10 crossram.

"stock" looks, much more power. 400Hp is possible w/ the crossram.
