Radiator leaking-what should I do?

I have what appears to be a small leak in my radiator.

If I pull the radiator, should I take it to a radiator shop and see what they can do to repair it or should I just replace it. If I am going to spend a lot to repair something that is not going to last, I just as soon spend the extra money to get a new radiator.

What replacement radiator do you folks recommend and who has the best prices?

I am not looking for a Griffin or BeCool, etc. but something that looks stock. No expansion tanks, etc. are in place at this time, so a normal radiator will be fine.

Is it the original radiator? I would remove it and have it pressure and flow tested. If it's been repaired before or if needs to be re-cored I would replace it, unless it's an NCRS car and you want to keep it original. A 4-row copper and brass unit can be purchased for $155.00- $200.00 range and aluminum 4 row units run $300.-$400. range. I just replaced mine in my 77 with a copper and brass 4 row unit that I purchased off of Ebay for $154.95 + $25.00 for shipping and it has a lifetime warranty.

Had mine re-cored with a 4-row, works and looks just fine. Local shop did it for less then 200 bucks. A quick fix might be some Bar's Leaks tablets, might buy you some time. I've heard these cars all left the factory with a couple in the radiator.

I replaced my radiator the beginning of this summer. I got a new radiator from radiatorworld.com It was delivered to my house for $162.99 and has been fine. The fit was perfect and no problems at all.
