Hmmmmm

I saw some boots in the attic. I will look at them and see what they look like. I think one is an early boot but I suspect it might have an issue. They are old.

Frames sometimes get so bad, you cant even find the vin on them. But if that section is still viable, I could easily see that it would be nothing to cut it out and transfer it over to the new frame....

I would not use nylon locking nuts for safety reasons. I thought you might be referring to them in your description. I would use a castle nut. I would have the bolts cross-drilled at a machine...

Doing it while running. But some cars will do it after you shut them off. This is sometimes the gasoline smell that people complain about after shutting them off.

Seat foam

I heard that a good upholstery shop can take care seat foam and steam press it. The process cleans and brings new life into it. You can also switch the passenger seat foam to the drivers side.
