I sure wouldn't want to be in the car on those pads. Those are glorified street pads. Even Stoptech says "light track use". In a 3300lb Corvette, that's pretty much a parade lap.

Motul 600 or Castrol SRF. I use Castrol SRF myself, but it isn't cheap. Motul will work just fine.

Perhaps you're familiar with the C6 ZR1? That wasn't a 'new car' either, but still managed to be one of the best Corvettes ever.

I think the C7 ZR1 will do just fine.

RE71r is not available in the 325/30/r19 size needed by a GrandSport on the rear... which is what I think the OP means by "GS tire sets"?

RE71r is available for the front stock size on a GS.
