If the pinion seal is leaking and you have...

If the pinion seal is leaking and you have noise....it's possible the pinion nut is loose. Might luck out and change seal and set pinion preload correctly and be good to go.

Verify the dome fits the small Edelbrock chamber...they are a little different than others.

4032 material will let you run tighter...

Ck it first without the rear main cap in place....

Ck it first without the rear main cap in place. Then ck again after installing the cap. If it gives same measurement it will verify that the cap/block align and that both halves are taking the thrust...

It's in Lufkin TX. Great little IHRA track. Everyone is friendly as heck...owners are there and talking to everyone.....nice shut down areas and smooth. Good place to play!

There's a driveshaft for the oil pump that may fall out of there too when you remove the pump. Make sure to reinstall it when going back together.

Remember...the average crate is just like you have. Cheap parts put together cheaply. Works fine for low HP stuff...but if you want to make power and have it live....you're going to need better parts...
