I have heard of similar stories. I'm not set up to fabricate something like that. But I do want it to fit properly. I can see more research is needed!

Forum: I will need a 4 pt roll bar for my 74. I have seen some members use a store bought bar from a vendor. Others have made their own. Any advice about what worked and what didn't?
I'm thinking of...

The only member I know running #420 spring in the rear is George. He has a big motor and tracks his car often.
How much power do you have and how fast do you intend to go?
Hopefully the forum can...

I like it that you have lap times to back up changes and mods. There is a comfort factor that a street car should have. Twitchy and unstable are not confidence building.

I considered the VB&P set...

I'm still waiting for George & Skunk Works to chime in.
Attacking the first line of my post is not the best way to start any discussion.
I'm still open to good advice from those that know!

Is that your best?

I'm looking for handling advice.
You seem to want to argue about what comes first and most often. If that is important to you start a poll on your own thread.

Go start a flame war someplace else....

I'm not going to count the posts, but I think we start w/engine mods for more power. Then we work on the chassis to keep things under control.

Leaving Handling on the Table?

As a long time troll I find it interesting how much time/money we spend on engine performance. It seems to be our main focus.

Then there are those who have spent the time/money to get the best...

That would mean a 2' pipe meeting a 2.5 pipe. On extra cost alone I'm sure it is 2.5 all the way.

I'm looking forward to seeing mine on the dyno w/2.5 & proper ex.

2.5" Duals

I think it was Magnaflow that has a set of 2.5' dual exhaust that meets in the middle as an X pipe. It was made for a 73 w/o cats and will hopefully fit my 74? I have the 2" RHs that are too small...

Perhaps they were wrong?

I had always believed that a BB w/alm heads is #100 lbs more than SB.
No matter how many Alm parts on BB. It will always be a few more than SB.
I believe an LS motor is #50lbs less? I could be...

I looked for a S shaped fuel ling and couldn't find it. I saw some curved hard lines, but I'm not sure. Could you point me in the right direction?

TIA
