If they are from/for an LT4 the stud size is different. GM did make a kit for LT1 engines (Hot Cam Kit) and those will work but only with LT4 springs or better.

May need to trim drip taps on...

Had the same issue with my 94, only fix was to use my stock mufflers instead of the Borla... drone gone. You may find some used LT1 mufflers for a lot less than aftermarket.
