$35/set. In my humble opinion, balancing tires that have tire snots all over them is a waste of money. I balance the wheels, the just mount the used rubber. Been doing that for 10+ years, never...

:iagree: ... What Jeff (essex) said. I did a slightly larger AP kit that will take 28.5mm pads for my C5, which, once my new engine is in, will resume its life at Watkins Glen. I "only" run the 355mm...

Coils for LS3 Swap and Dwell Considerations

I had an LS3 built with a 24x reluctor for my C5Z. Keeping the stock computers. I need to buy coils as the old LS6 coils are gone. I will stay with OEM, but that still leaves a lot of options...

Match balancing - never did that. Not saying that you will 100% not have trouble, but I think you will find that the vast majority of folks don't bother. This included folks that work on track cars...

I did the LS7 clutch, but used the Fidanza flywheel; no need to shim the slave. On the current Mantic 9000, I needed a large shim. Be sure to push the slave all the way back in prior to measuring. ...

1/8 MPT Oil Temp Sensor Needed

I'm doing a Dry Sump and need to get a Oil Temp Sensor, with a 1/8 MPT thread, that is electronically compatible with the C5. Any suggestions?

Car is a 2002 C5Z, if that matters.

Thanks for the info on the Nurbergrings. I mis-typed on my C6Z wheels, they are actually "just" C6 wheels, 18x9.5, +57 (I believe). With the 1/4" spacer they clear, very tight. I have no issue...

Can you quantify "room to spare"? I run standard CCW C10's, 18x11 over massive AP Calipers (29 mm pads) and they clear. C5 rears also clear (barely) and C6Z fronts require a 1/4" spacer. I am...

Starter for C5Z, 11.5 CR, LG Long Tube Headers

I know, C5 Tech. Search shows that this question was previously asked in C5 Tech and summarily ignored.

The new LS3 has a CR of 11.5. Still have the original stock starter, so I figured I would...

C5 Z06: Remote Starter Solenoid w/ battery moved to rear cubbie

For a Dry Sump install, I had to move the battery to the rear of the car. Car is mostly a track car, A/C is removed.

Rather than having an unfused 1/0 hot cable running all the way up to the...

C5 Z06 Pair of Knuckles, Spindles, Uprights (R10237238, L10237239)

These Spindles have been cleaned and treated with POR-15. The POR-15 will not allow dirt/grime to penetrate the aluminum. A simple wipe, or blast with non-chlorinated brake cleaner, cleans them right...
