GM seems two have to ways of doing things... Either So-So or Absolutely All-Out Great. If they could just spend more time on the Great side of things... imagine.
Did everyone the this from the SuperBowl comercials??
I remember seeing the actual commercial on TV just a few days ago......that precision red C6 caught my attention immediately!
Side note: It seems like the convertible tops were up to minimize complications arising from blending in the cars/drivers and the computer generated special effects? Some of the scenes were probably shot inside a studio.
Oh, man... the Olympics commercial just doesn't hold a torch to the American Revolution. The latter should grab awards for its captivating camera shots and music that just keeps saying "you ain't seen nuttin' yet" by bearing surprise after surprise.
Let's see a blast from the past in support of WHY there is no comparison:
Camera angles. Curiosity. Intrigue. First official C6 glimpse and we have to salivate due to the Director thinking we're in a strip bar... with no cash!
More! Please, please, just let me see more!
Excellent WOT LS2 - NOW we're talking! Suspense exploding into action!
SPY SHOT! Need I say more? Sigh, OK. Our first production prototype spy shot came from a bystander watching this scene being shot. THANK YOU TY TY!
Hey, we have jaw-dropping company, confirming we're not crazy.
"Holy Shee.." - more jaw-dropping! We are not alone.
Did I mention camera angles, suspense, curiosity and mystery?
OK. NOTHING outdoes this 180 at speed followed by...
...backing up the ramp. Back-to-back stunts! A class act...
Tug our hearts by taking us back to childhood ("retro" for you squirts) and showing us the Chevelle SS - the first car poster I ever had. Oh, and more jaw dropping. Salivation in company justifies the act, doesn't it?
Whew - surprise after surprise. Ooh, a bi-wing fly-by. Are we really done? I just don't know... what a journey these two minutes have been.
Now, WHAT in the Olympic commercial compares to THAT ride?
