Tried just about everything for cleaning and polishing my Corsa Sports Pro tips and find that Eagle One Nevr-Dull wadding metal polish works the best and I stick to that.

Trust me guys, I am as **** as they get...

I have Corsa Pro Tips also.. I also have used NevrDull.. Its a LOT of work... and you end up with black hands... The Purple melts the soot... and it rinses away...

As far as a difference between Polishing and Cleaning.. I agree to an extent... But we are talking about Polished Stainless. Once Polished they stay that way. Unless something else scratches them.

They are stainless.. They should stay shiny...It's not like aluminum that pits..or tarnishes...

My tips look as good as they did 5 years ago...Next time I wash I will try to do a before and after...

Oh and NO WORK...

Keep Zep or any purple cleaner away from your paint! It will eat right through the clear coat and base coat. I would not use a spray bottle. If you must use a cleaner this strong, wipe it on with a soft cloth, rinse with water and then dry with soft cloth ASAP.

I forgot to mention that.... Also eats through Fingertips and skin...

It can soften paint and clear coat if not removed promptly...

By the way... I find it odd my post was moved to the Car Car Section from C6 General but the Post selling the Stainless Steel Polishing kit remains....

after, at next wash, I will hit the exhaust tips again with RejeX which can stand up to 400 degrees of heat.
It is not a cleaner, it leaves a great polished shine over the BlueMagic cleaned surface.
Works great! Have used it for years on the outsides; works just as well on the inside.

I agree with your question about why your post was moved; there was another similar exhaust tip cleaning suggestion posted again today and right away Pipedreams comes back with his .02 about what he is selling. That post has been moved also. I have not purchased any of his items and have no personal issues with him other than the fact whether is it polishing tips, splash guards, or anything else he is involved with it turns from a suggestion or question from someone to a sales pitch on his behalf. I know he is a forum vendor and he is peddling his wares, but sometimes it gets a little much...

Most people love Ed's products and his advice. He's done a lot of free things for members including myself. He also pays a pretty penny every month to advertise on this forum which keeps it free for the rest of us. I think that gives him the right to push his wares, which by the way are great products and are very fairly priced (no Corvette tax!).

Thanks Ed!

I dont find NevrDull hard work at all...then again, I treat my tips about once a week. I dont get black hands at all either....I use disposble vinyl gloves when using it...I am **** too and surprised you would use that wading with bare hands

Excellent and accurate advice. I would be very nervous about mixing any cleaners as some results could even be worse than this.

I used Ed's, Pipedreams, Polish Kit and here is before and after. Judge for yourself. You can plainly see the difference. Took me about 30 minutes for the entire project. I have never polished anything before. Thanks again Ed, as usual, a great kit.
