Hey all,
I need to find out the proper procedure to bleed the clutch by using the remote C6 bleeder. It is installed in the car already and is zip tied over near my brake booster.
I've searched, but don't see a topic on this.

Robert told me how to do it yesterday! Believe he got these instructions from Andy at A&A where he got his OZ clutch.
Takes two people. Pump several times, let pedal up. Have helper open bleeder. Push pedal slowly down to floor with bleeder open. Hold pedal on floor and have helper close bleeder. Let pedal up. Check resevoir, fill if necessary.
Repeat several times.
Although this sounds backwards from what we are used to doing... according to Andy we've been doing it wrong all along for the clutch. I can say we've bled cans and cans through Mike's car doing it the old way, and it still seems to have air. Robert says first couple of cycles doing it this way it felt odd, but after a few cycles it feels and works great.
You can stop by this week if you want to try it.

ok, i just had the wife help me do it.
Did just as you said.
Pumped up pedal 10 times
Open bleeder
Had pregnant wife push pedal to the floor slowly
Fluid and air came out on the first push.
close bleeder
fill resivoir
pumped pedal by hand(first couple of pumps it wouldn't completely come off of the floor.
Repeated 4 times. This got the fluid being pumped out crystal clear.
I'm excited to drive it now.
Thanks

Bleeding a Clutch Via an Installed Remote Bleeder

A remote bleeder and Mity-Vac are absolutely essential to making the clutch bleeding procedure a one-man operation.
Connect a Mity-Vac to the outlet on the remote bleeder. To ensure a tight seal, apply a little “sil-glide” to the threads on the bleeder
Next, start by draining the reservoir with a syringe. Refill with clean fluid.
Then proceed to pull a vacuum & pull the fluid in normal flow direction w/ the Mity-Vac brake fluid bleeding attachment.
Keep doing it till the fluid comes out clean. Make sure you keep the reservoir at the proper level throughout.
wrencher states: I usually keep an eye on the fluid color & flush by the look of it.
I drag race my car a lot. I flush before and after every track visit.
If I don’t, the pedal changes & I know it's flush time.
I do a fluid change & all is well again.
By following this routine, I’ve kept my master cylinder working correctly for 3-4 years now while doing a lot of racing.
Thanks to wrencher for the info.

BTW Doug I've got a Mity-Vac if you want to try that too.
