Best line of the day -
We parked about a dozen cars in front of the DPS office next door to the Hard 8. I went back to the car to get my phone and there was a Trooper walking around looking over the cars.
I asked him if it was OK that we parked there and he said :
"Nah, makes our parking lot look good... Funny thing though - must be a million dollars worth of cars out here and nobody seems to be able to afford a front plate..."

Great trip guys - Thanks again Roy!

Thanks Lady Z! I love your Z06, btw...

It was great to finally meet all of the characters on here that crack me up day in and day out. This was my first cruise with the group, and I had an absolute blast, as did Elisabeth. Great food, great people, and some great backroading! What more could you ask for on a Sunday?

And, thanks to everyone for the compliments on the Stang...see it ain't so bad I think a couple of ya got surprised (***cough*** Mary in the twisties ***cough*** )

Can't wait to see the pics!

Great run today Roy, I had a blast and I know Brad and Sarah did too, I keep trying to talk him into a vette, but he is addicted to fords. The food was excellent, and I foresee a sugar coma with all my dublin DP. It was great to see everyone again!

Sounds like another great Blue Thunder run

Jelena and I just finished eating - Hard 8 pork chops, ribs and sausage - and we didn't even go on the cruise

Thanks to Josh (one of the Mustang drivers) for bringing us the care package

Soon as Jelena recovers we'll be in on the next cruise

No problem man, anytime!!

I am sad now though...I only ate half my chop (see pic in earlier post - that was mine) and boxed the other half up. Went to go order Dennis' BBQ and everyone got ready to go...I thought Elisabeth grabbed my leftovers but they were left on the table

You happen to *find* any videos of a motorcycle getting frisky on 377?

That looks like my silver butt in the last one. It was incredible to be sandwiched in between the Callaway and the twin Turbo Lingenfelter when they were getting up to full song. Fabulous sound.

Officer: “Boy, I don’t care if they said it was OK you aren’t running that Mustang in a Corvette Run. Now I’m going to have to take you IN.”

I've been on a lot of back road cruises lately but today's was the best of the best. The roads, weather, food, and people were just fantastic. I know that those up in the front of the pack had some great runs, I didn't get to talk to everyone in the rear but I bet you did too. I heard that there were some personal highs made today, always good to hear that.

Great line by the DPS Officer (ain't no way I was going to park the Blue Demon in that lot) and of course the Dublin police officer was actually just like one of us, a person who likes nice cars!

It was nice that the Blue Thunder Corvette Club gave its members a special treat today, it dang sure made me happy!

The two Mustangs earned their keep when they blew past the lead car for a short time but respectfully took their place rearward shortly thereafter!! Nice meeting you guys and like Lady Z said, you are always welcome now that you have "earned your badge".

So, someone plan the next lunch cruise, lets do it again. Or maybe a highway 4 cruise is in the future???

Apparently his attempted bribe failed. Note the empty take-away tray on the ground.

I was prolly two gears down from you and way up on the tach just trying to stay in the same zipcode. And you just walked away.
That is one incredible machine.
