Default Who wants fender flares (Guldstrand/Show pics)

I took the Z out to the Redline Corvette show in Simi Valley this morning to eyeball some rides, and met the legendary Dick Guldstrand. After drooling over is C4 I inquired about fender flares and let him know there is some interest here on the board...Only option WAS the GS which some like/some dont. I dont know if they can reproduce those but it was brought up.

Now...The good news is he mayu be open to making abunch of flares up like he has for us if there is enough interest. THink 315s and 335s on your early C4.

Im sending this link so he can view it....For those in the area out here he does C4 tuning, suspensions, mechanical, the whole nine yards.

It was a pleasure to meet the man himself who has dedicated a good portion of his life to the C4. Also included some snapshots of some other C4s spotted there.

First remember all the other flare threads....Only pic I had was of lars87 friends overseas car..

So naturally I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw this!!

This car looks sick, I love it!!

The legend Dick Guldstrand himself and some jerk

I like this.....Stock LT1 tip welded up to a Flo...Hey CORSA, you listening?

48,000 mile ZR1

This looks awful familiar, Im wondering if he is a member, didnt see anyone withthe car

One more3 of Dicks track beast.

Post if youre interested in some flares.

Ball park on the cost? Looks like some body work required with painting to follow = expensive add on.

Ah, some other pics I took for you guys to drool over. Unreal!!

Fwiw on the flares, they would probably have a mold done...All youd need to do is have your body guy graft them on, fill and paint. This is all specualtionthough, you d have to speak with them, maybe they will pipe in, I dont know.

I am interested in the flairs. Bonding and blending is no big deal. Also, are the GS wheels widened or just spaced. I have 335's on mine and they don't look like that.

Not feeling it. Looks like a lot of work, money, and the tires are still sticking out over the flairs? Doesnt give the wide body look of the ZR1, doesnt look much better than the glue on jobs.

The man is a legend.

I wish I meet him while I was out there.

BTW Can he do flares for the front as well?

Also the flares above are offset to compensate for the fact that the car is lowered.
I run 355's up front, but if I lowerd it, the tires would hit the outside lip.
He'll know what I'm taking about. Tell him it's for SCCA Street Prepared.

Flare needs to be the whole qtr panel like on the Calloway.
I think a lot of people would be interested, for a REASONABLE price, but judging from his other parts they would be very high! They have these now for the C5.
