Man I am tired, I just read all 18 pages of this thread and 42 on the other, whew. Anyway, quick question.....you have all stated that to run the rear O2 you need cats with the O2 bung on them, I just looked at Performance-Curve and I didn't see that set up, where is it? Which cats do you order for an 04?
They are listed under the Thunderbolt series, look at the Spin-Cat design and you will see them.
Anyone is So-Cal have a set of these headers but haven't installed them yet? I am worried about motor mount clearance on my swap project. I'd like to meet up with someone and try some fitment tests.
Thanks Tim! It's really tough to tell from these angles if they will clear or not. If you don't mind i'll get some measurements and try and compare them with yours(I'll send a PM). I was browsing evilbay and found some pics of the f-body header mounted on an engine stand and they appeared to clear easily. Unfortunately, the rest of the f-body headers are all wrong for me.
Hi Rain!!!! Long time no hear from!!! I think it would be against the rules of supporting vendors and such to post how to get our Forum Member price. I'm not sure though...
From: Biloxi MS Theres something happenin' here, What it is ain't exactly clear.....
Hey Tim
(Thats right - new ownership here) I've seen the FLOOD of new members at another venue I frequent.
Been good on this end. Just busy. Trying to finish up an Eradispeed swap out on the Vette. Powdercoating the hats and calipers and trying to find someone who will Cad dip the outers of the 2 pc rotors.
Kids are growing up fast and the AV install biz is still trucking along - Thanks for asking.

So ive been TRYING to install mine for the past few days. All i can say is i wish i would have spend the 1500 on LG's These things have been nothing but a problem. I recieved a defective passenger side header. Its much to high i have NO clearance between the flywheel cover and the header this in turn makes everything else off. This is what happens every time i try and save a buck or two. But hey the driver side went right in and the fit is great L

LOL Well a 4 cylinder Vette would suck! I'll assume that you had the flange bolts loose before you tryed hooking up the rest of the exhaust to bring it in, so get a long hunk of 3" pipe OR round off a 2 X 4 to slide in the Collector and bend it into submission!
FYI I haven’t had a set of Headers (expensive OR cheap) go in without a hitch. I will say that the more expensive ones do go in easier on average BUT this and the previous Thread is about gouging the Corvette tax and putting a great exhaust in as inexpensively as we can… by your example $1,100 cheaper!

Also, did they come from SSAC or the outfit in San Diego that selling now on ebay? Maybe a difference. All I can say is that a little ingenuity on the install can save a lot of teeth gnashing.

PM me the new Forum...
I'd like to see how your cadium rotors turn out and the longevity of the finish, I know you drive yours so that would be a good test on the finish! Time to start a new Thread my friend!
