I have been in contact with Ken at FIRST Fuel Injection, and he has offered up a discount starting at 15% for three customers. He has mentioned an even larger discount depending on the numbers. I know we all have Christmas right around the corner, but this looks to be a sweet deal. For those of you not familiar with this system, here are a couple of links you need to look at:
Just got an email back from Ken about the Vortec manifold.
"We do have the vortec done and pricing is the same."
MIGHT be able to get one in 3 weeks depending if expected money arrives and the Wife does not get it first.
Contact you first if I buy one or just let Ken know when I order?
Not sure yet. I have to put together an email for Ken with a bunch of questions about this buy. Most everyone wants to wait until the new year anyways. I think we might be up to five, so I might press him for an extra 5%!. I'll put that email together and keep everyone posted.
I'd also be interested if we could maybe get a bit more off....unless by having everything...they mean it can be bolted up without hitch (stock fuel rails work or they come with some, includes the throttle cable bracket, and whatever i was hearing about needing an adaptor to make the throttle body clear the hood).
As of now though, I'd have to say no due to "insufficient" funds.

From my understanding the intake comes with fuel rails, throttle bracket, tps bracket, gaskets, and stainless bolts. It will fit under a c2 and c3 hood and I would think it would fit a c4 considering the the TB can be mounted either in front of the plenum or on the side of it.
here's a link to photos of the intake installed ... no c4 pics but there is some of the tb mounted on the side of the plenum.
Ok, I shot Ken and FIRST another email with some more questions everyone had. Sorry about the delay, I am kind of in Japan and 15 hours ahead, so coordination can be a problem sometimes. Plus, they blocked me at work so I can't go to the forum. I'll keep everyone posted as soon as he responds.
Oh, and I asked about the "extra" discount he mentioned if I get more than three customers. Now it's a wait-and-see thing.
How does the setup work with EGR? I see that the plenum has some sort of EGR block off on the right side rear but I'm not clear on how the stock EGR configuration would have to be modified to fit the FIRST setup. EGR is a requirement for me.
Additionally, would Ken take care of cutting down the top of the TB (as he mentioned in an earlier thread) to remedy the C4 hood clearance issues for the same price/discount?
Thanks for driving the group purchase. I’m definitely interested.

Not sure if this pic will answer your question about the egr, but here is a pic of the egr installed. From the pic it does not appear to be anything to it other than to bolt the egr in place.
So, assuming Ken at FIRST satisfies everyone, and everyone is G2G, we have more than enough. I will pass this on to Ken. He has yet to reply to my last email, but it's only been a day. Thanks everyone!

Reason: Forgot myself of all people
It would be best if each guy just emailed us with individual questions, as each one will have their own concerns and project issues. Chrome finish is extremely expensive @ $1100 extra and that is what we get charged! The painted finish is $150. We will try and get some pics of the fuel rails on the web site here soon. The small cap does work the best, and we can get some adapter boots for the air cleaner. There are plenty of vacuum ports and the speed density will work fine with the first. We can probably go $825 per intake if you go over 5.
Thanks Ken
So, for all buyers, let him know you are part of the group purchase with Corvetteforum and email him at FIRSTFUELINJ@aol.com
