Ok stupid question but how is traction? Does it break loose under spirited shifting?

hasn't been above 55 here but it will grab in 3rd somewhat. 1st and 2nd is nothing but spinning. I lose traction about 4-4.5krpm

regular dyno, but his reads low from what I heard. He only ran it in 3rd gear so that is why the HP is lower and even with torque then others. 4th gear roll I should see 520ish.

Cool did he say if it was a Mustang or Dynojet?

Any idea what tires you are going to be running?

dynojet - the torque is spot on with 471.

Right now I have the stockers. Going to change rims and go with 305 or 325's in the back. a vendor has a rim that will fit the 325, not sure if I like it or now..need to chew on it some.

There is a thread right now about sticky tires. Been following that.

yeah same here. Trying to decide if I want to have my stock rims widened. The tire issue is a big one for me.

The BOV(blow off valve). This is what it sounds like when you rev it. This is on a mustang tho.

I will get a video of it when it stops snowing/raining here in MD.

Right now the only thing I don't like is when the power comes in. It's a tiny bit high in the RPMS. Once I get headers and alky in I should be good. I may have drove it around for 600 miles since I had it so haven't had good windshield time. Track opens March 2nd, if its warm enough I'll give it a run.

3-3.5k its starting to build gradually. 3.5-4 its building pretty good...about 4.5 to 6k its ***** to the wall. I would post the dyno graph but the installer lost it.

Chris told me it should start about 2800 RMPs. and be at ***** to the wall by 3.5 to 4.

With the restrictor plate that comes with the ECS kit, we can build boost faster than other centrifigal SC kits on the market, while capping the top end from over boosting a stock engine. This dramitically increases torque values over all.

My car is complete stock. Without headers I'm losing some power due to the lack of free flowing exhaust. That might be where the difference is considering how boost is built..but I'm unsure.

I'm curious why the car was dyno'd in third? That should give you a higher torque reading. I would have it redyno'd somewhere else possibly, the torque reading you have should be a minimum for forth gear let alone third.

I just want to make sure your getting what you should from the kit.
