Show off your rear brake duct mods

Had mine done over the winter along with the carbon fiber overlays and some creative plumbing of the tubes to get fresh air in the wheel wells to clear the oversize wheels and tires. Nice match to the carbon fiber of the engine bay.

Here is a Photo dated 07/02/2002 IT shows the scoops the way Breathless had designed them to work... I originally put them on top of the rocker. ( two step epoxy ) A few months later I decided to glass them in....

Yours were the inspiration for me buying them! When you glassed them in, did you remove them and remount them from the back side, or just add FG to the front side to blend them?
I just spoke with Ernie at BPP. He does recommend mounting them from underneath now. He said you have to modify (cut slightly smaller) the included template. Very soon the cutting will begin!

Use the template, and epoxy them on as if they were being put on as designed.. do not try to fit them perfectly in side the rocker.. allow them to be glued as designed on top of the rocker. You will them have a bullet proof bond to the rocker, extremely strong... the glassing and the fill is just cosmetic them...they will never crack, also the other good thing about this mod is they are fiberglass not ABS, and therefore much better at taking stone hits... I added stone guard clear coat over the rockers, that why in some photos there appears to be alot of orange peel...down low. Ill see if I can find a photo from a few days ago to show you how they have held up...over five years...
Here is a picture I took a couple of days ago of my 9 year old car, 5 years on the rear brake scoops, CCW's are four years old as are the Eradispeed 14" rotors. Car has 70,000 miles.. Ill see if I can find a few more photos
