Depends on what you mean by Tach wire. If you are looking for an RPM output you can get that from the wiring harness on the PCM. Do a search on shift lights and you will find some links to write-ups with instructions for different years. For a TPS you might need to grab a schematic or run a wire from the sensor itself.
As far as getting the signals from inside the cabin... I have heard people talk about getting a "tach signal" from behind the dash. When I installed my shift light I could not find confirmation so I just tapped the PCM harness.
I'm not sure what you are doing but there is also the question of interpreting the signal. I'm not sure if its a direct pulse or something that needs to be translated into a usable signal. I suspect its a pulse because my shift light that uses the harness has a setting for cyls.
Hope this helps, somebody smarter than me will eventually chime in.
The tach signal can be had from the ecm. Tap into the white wire, blue connector. TPS signal can be had from the wire harness goint to the throttle body, purple wire.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking for a tach/rpm signal. If the signal is not clean, I will clean it up with a tach adapter. I am hooking up a Wide Band Commander to datalog the car. I have a indash carputer (drivesoft radio) that has Wideband commander software installed that will do playback of my run with rpm, A/F ratio, and TPS. It is alot easier to to the car with this setup. It will be installed and stay in the car all the time. It will also control some laughing gas down the line. I am not sure why people with vette's do not have one. It should be one of the first mods on everyones list imo. Do you remember wire color? Pin #

Does the ecm only have a few wires that you can say "white" wire? I am used to Fords that have a 60 pin connector. Where is the ecm located? The tps has to go somewhere into the car so it can be tapped there. I would like to find out this info so I can make a sticky to help others that may want to do the same thing.
The Wideband Comader does not work well on our cars I think you have to choose which of the functions you want to run I will ask my friend how he did it as it did not work the firs few ways we hooked it up.
I know you CAN NOT use the rpm signal from the coil pak.
You must go to the PCM and that causes a problem for another feature or a ck engine light cant remember which.
TP sensor 1 = grey connector pin 65 dark green
TP sensor 2 = grey connector pin 63 purple
(THIS IS WHAT WORKED BEST FOR ME BUT DID NOT WORK WITH THE WBC.)
TP 1 signal is above 4v at idle and below 1v at WOT.
TP 2 is below 1v at idle and above 4v at WOT.
TP connection is at the throttle body.
or
APP sensor 1 = black connector pin 29 dark blue
APP sensor 2 = black connector pin 32 light blue
APP 1 is below 1v at idle and above 4v at WOT.
APP 2 is .5v at idle and above 2v at WOT.
APP is the accelerator pedal position sensor
