Help! Of course I know you guys are going to say change the bushings.... but.....Just changed all 3 bushings in each motor as the headlights were not going up or down all the way. Re-assembled everything and hooked it back, turned the lamps on... headlamps work as they should, except the damn motor continues to run. It does it on either up or down. I've repaired several these before and never ever had an issue!
Update: As usual when I pull these things apart, I clean the teeth on the large white gear. No evidence of stripping. Everything works together fine other than the excessive run on time. I'm going to swap out control modules with a spare and see how that goes.
Second update: Changed out the headlight control, no change.

Any thoughts out there? GC
Daryll,
I have done the bushings and that stopped my problem,(run on) but I don't remember but can there possibly be a problem with the shaft of the motor itself being stripped or the inside of the gear?
