I apologize for any confusion about today. The best bet with these events is just to keep checking back to see what's going on. It seems whenever we plan these that the weather is just not on our side. I hope that everyone who goes today has a great time and stays safe, and that the next time we plan one of these events, it won't rain.

Sunday crew, we'll plan on meeting at the outlets in Dawson at 9:30 - Cobb crew, I'll still meet anyone wanting to caravan off of Barrett Parkway at 7:30.........

Yamahajo, I see no need to personally apologize here and I don't see any confusion. Now mater what event you talking about rain cancellations are always last minute. You've done everything you could to set up a great event, however you can't control the weather and you can't force folks, that don't like to drive their vette's in the rain, to participate. You are the organizer of this event and have every right to cancel / move it due to weather. In fact your the only one that can. It's the power you get for putting up with the occasional attitude some folks can throw at you. I think it's generally referred to as BS!

I have a feeling that those that do go today will soon forget that they we initially a little frustrated with the change due to weather. I hope they have a great day and I sincerely hope that they get lucky and don't run into rain. I look forward to see some of the comment's from folks that went later today.

As for tomorrow I may be able to participate, however it will depend on the weather and I won't commit until last minute.

Marc

Okay, all is on for tomorrow. Partly cloudy, no advertised chance of showers. The roads should be dry and inviting!

The plan is still the same, just a day later. So, anyone who is in we'll see you Sunday 06/22 9:30am at the outlet mall on 400.

PM Big Kidd if you want to drive up together from the Duluth/Auburn area to the mall.

PM Yamahajo if you want to drive up together from Acworth/Vinings area to the mall.

PM me if you want to drive up together from the Atlanta east/southeast side to the mall. I will be heading up from 285 @ Memorial to 400.

Remember... this is Georgia... so as always let's keep an eye on the weather, but it does look extemely promising!!

All of those that did not go today, you missed a great time. Weather was perfect, high 70's with some cloud cover, tops off, dry roads and a lot of fun people.

Saw a lot of nice Vettes at the Top of GA car show also.

Hope you have as much fun tomorrow as we did today.

To everyone that did make it today, it was great to meet everyone and put a face with the Forum screen name. Hope everyone made it home safe and sound.

All, even though I went today, I may see about joining you tomorrow.
Depends on how tired I feel later and if my granddaughter wants to go.

If I don't go, I hope you all have as much fun as we did today.

Randy, as you can see, we made it safe and sound... good to meet you today.

See you next time.

WOW, what a pleasant surprise it was to see several members of the Georgia Crew today at the Brasstown Bald All Corvette Show. Loads of great looking Vettes and nice folks.

Meeting y'all in the Georgia Crew who made the trip to the top of the mountain just MADE my day. And, yes the weather was as lovely as some of you I met.

Thanks to all of you who took time to come up the mountain. "Y'all come back now ya heah".

Like everyone else said, It was a great fun day. The weather could hardly have been better and the company was a great bunch of people!
Kept my Lt1 busy, but those curves were great. I was surprised to see only 3 C4s in the entire show. Guess the C4s are getting scarce, but mine is a definite keeper. Thanks for a GOOD TIME!!
