The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I didn't even have to bother installing it and it fixed my problem. I just keep the unopened UPS box in the back.

"Just a thought, I'm putting some LEDs in my front corners and ordered the special flasher shown in the link below. It installs in 15 minutes according to the instructions and bypasses the stock flasher. I was told it would still work if I was running a mix of LED and incandescent bulbs. Maybe just putting one of these in and leaving the stock flasher in place would be an easy fix? I would pay the $49.95 to avoid replacing the stocker flasher if I knew this would work. Another alternative, use the harness from the kit and put a stock flasher in the new location - would this work?"

New lenses install, left front, about an hour
(lotta standing around and staring, took out a few screws I didnt need to) right front, about ten minutes Flasher bypass install, really does take ten minutes, and all you need is a t-15 driver and a small flat blade screwdriver, completely plug and play.
LED bulbs, without flasher bypass (did the lenses and bulbs first) worked perfectly. After putting in the bypass, left front switchbacks wouldnt light in white (drl) and right ts was flickering. Pulled bypass plug and reseated (stopped flickering on right). Pulled left switchback led bulb and turned it around and reseated, worked fine (it worked the way I had it in there before I put the bypass flasher in).
Very easey mod, all you need is a 7mm socket (to remove the screws holding the access panel under the front end to get to the two screws that hold the lenses in) one of which is a 7mm the other is a 10mm. And as stated earlier, a t-15 for the dash panel (four screws) and a small flatblade to pop the foglight/trunk release switch out when removing the underdash piece). Lifting the front of the car makes getting under there a lot easier, but in a pinch, you could probably get it done without lifting it on a stock hieght car (as long as you can squeeze your head under the bumper
).All in all, very doable with littel/no mech skill required, and great results, for anyone who is on the fench about doing this.
